The EtherRain Valve Controller is initially configured as follows:

1.  DHCP ON
2.  Operating mode:  Local
3.  Default password:  pw

EtherRain must initially be attached to a network that has DCHP service.  DHCP will provide an IP address, netmask, gateway address, and DNS server address to the EtherRain unit.  It is recommended the when using LawnCheck that your EtherRain controller be operated with DHCP on though it is possible to operate EtherRain using static addressing.
